Iterative algorithm for electrical capacitance tomography system applied in measurement of two-phase flow

Elactrical capacitance technology(ECT) which is full used in productive process is an on-line detecting technology.Through accurately measuring the capacitances between the ECT system's 12 electrodes,using these measurement values to acquire the electrical sensitivity maps with finite element method(FEM),an image-reconstruction algorithm based on iteration method is presented.This algorithm can precisely conduct image-reconstruction for pipe cross-section's two-phase flow .The real problems of industrial application and the present limitation of this technique are also discussed.
