Research on ferromagnetic materials MFL inspection technology based on LabVIEW

According to the magnetic properties,the magnetic flux leakage(MFL)measuring platform was built up to inspect ferromagnetic materials'defects non-destructively and improve their reliability.The method for real-time inspection of MFL signals by Hall sensors was put forward.The MFL signals were real-time displayed,processed and stored through controlling stepper motor and driving data acquisition card by LabVIEW.The defects information was intuitively displayed after de-noising by wavelet transform and differential analysis of MFL signals.The inspection experiment demonstrates that the functions of data acquisition,real-time display and de-noising process can be realized conveniently and the MFL inspection technology based on labVIEW can accurately inspect ferromagnetic materials'defects.
