Application of transient electromagnetic method in geophysical prospecting in transformer substation

In power system geological survey,in order to find out geological characteristics of landslide,briefly introduce working principle of transient electromagnetic method( TEM) and its detecting method,taking a substation in the northeast of Yunnan Province as an example,by analysis on apparent resistivity imaging map,topographic features of apparent deep cross section are obtained,and the distribution of the geological forms is summarized. Compared with traditional resistivity method,transient electromagnetic method can be used in geological environment of the geophysical exploration.
