Study on a micro capacitor testing method based on AD7150

A novel method for measuring micro capacitance output from capacitance-type sensor is described in this paper. The application background and domestic and foreign present situations of micro capacitance measurement circuits are elaborated.Combining the working principle of capacitance-type sensor,an adaptive circuit is established based on AD7150.AD7150 is a capacitance-digital converter with fast response time and ultra-low power consumption and communicates with microcontroller through the serial port.The AD7150 delivers a complete signal processing solution for capacitive proximity sensors.
