Review on multi sensor information fusion

WANG Yuan-bin (Xi'an University of Science and Technology,Xi'an 710054, China)  
Multi sensor information fusion is being applied to a wide variety of fields such as automatic target recognition, industrial process control,remote sensing,medical diagnostics, image processing,pattern recognition and so on.The concept of multi sensor information fusion is introduced.The fusion algorithms are reviewed in detail.A multi-source information fusion algorithm is put forward based on rough set theory. Finally the future research of multi sensor fusion are outlined.
