A Preliminary Study on a Linear Variety of Spirulina (Sp-Dz)

A linear variety nemed Sp -Dz was isolated from Sp -D,one good strain of Spirulina platensis used in researches and production for years Some preliminary studies of its growth characteristics and main biochemical composition had been carried out The results show that this linear variety is of many advantages such as fast growth,good floating nature,high phycobiliprotein content,et al It is a new strain deserved to be deeply studied and developed
