Influence of Automobile Exhaust on Concentration of Lead, Copper and Cadmium in Tea leaf and Soil

Shi Yuanzhi 1、2 Ma Lifeng 1 Han Wenyan 1 Ruan Jianyun 1 (1.Tea Research Institute Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Hangzhou, 310008 2.Zhejiang University,Honzhou,310029)
In the present paper, the affect of automobile exhaust on the contents of lead, copper and cadmium in tea leaf and soil was investigated. The results shown that the closer the tea garden to the highway was,the higher lead content in tea was.The automobile exhaust had ambiguous influence on the copper and cadmium contents of tea.It might probably be one of practical ways to decline the lead content of tea by planting some woody plants between the tea garden and the highway.
