A Study on Pollutants Removal by Biological Ceramic Column-PAC-submerged hollow Fiber Filtration Set System

Biological ceramic column and PAC as the pretreatment of submerged hollow fiber filtration set can completely solve the problem of inefficiency in treating the ammonia nitrogen, and avoid the nitrite nitrogen accumulation, reduce the load of membrane filtration set in the treatment of turbidity, bacteria, iron, manganese and organic matter etc. In biological ceramic column - PAC - submerged hollow fiber filtration set system, the average removal efficiency of Permanganate Index, ammonia and nitrite is 76.97%, 95.50% and 99.15% respectively.
