Urban Environmental Geochemistry of Elements Distribution in Soil in Panzhihua City

A case study from Panzhihua city, primary studies about urban environmental geochemistry of trace elements in the soil were carried out. The result of factor analysis showed that the elements in different layers of the soil could be divided into two clusters: one is heavy metal caused soil pollution, another is trace element such as REE. The distribution characteristics of trace metal pollution in the urban soil showed that soil pollution was influenced by mining and industrial activities in Panzhihua City.
