Pretreatment of Aniline-containing Wastewater with Catalytic Oxidation Method

Anilinecontaining dye wastewater was treated with Fenton's reagent oxidation method. Some factors which influence the removal rate of anilinecontaining were investigated. When pH is 3.5, the concentrations of H2O2 and Fe2+ are 28mmol/L and 2.8mmol/L respectively in wastewater, the experimental result indicated that the removal rate of aniline can reach 98% and the removal rate of CODCr is 76% under the conditions of room temperature, the raw wastewater aniline 800mg/L , and the ratio of BOD5/CODCr can reach 0.32 after treatment. The effluent can be easily treated by conventional biochemical method.
