Landfill Leachate Treated by Fenton's Reagent

Treatment of the leachate from landfill was studied by a two stage process of oxidation with Fenton's reagent and then coagulation with polyferric sulfate. After this process, with FeSO 4·7H 2O , H 2O 2 / FeSO 4·7H 2O a nd polyferric sulfate dodage of 0.2%, 11 and 1.2‰ respectively, 68.2% of COD Cr and 98% of color removals were achieved.
