NH_4-N Removal Capacity of Vermiculite Stuffing in Constructed Wetland

This paper researched on NH_4-N capacity adsorption of vermiculite and adsorption isothem, and discussed the influence of pH、temperature、density on removal rate of NH_4-N and regeneration of saturated vermiculite. The experimental results showed that:saturated adsorption capacity of vermiculite is 20.83?mg/L; At pH level:2.0~6.0, Adsorption capacity of vermiculite increase with pH growing, and the optimal pH value:4.0~(6.0);At temperature value: 15℃~35℃, absorption capacity vermiculite inverse to temperature. This confirms basic parameters of vermiculite at laboratory conditions as a newtype stuffing.
