Spatial Pattern of Non-agricultural Land and Effects of Regional Ecological Environment in Urban Fringe of Beijing — A Case Study on Plain of Fangshan District

The plain of Fangshan district is selected as an area for case study. The characteristics of spatial pattern of non-agricultural land in the area are recognized by Variable Clumping Method(VCM),which is a kind of quantitative analysis. According to the viewpoint concerning the concept"corridor benefit",effects of regional ecological environment are analyzed,which are caused by the spatial pattern. Based on the analysis,some ideas are brought forward about optimizing the spatial pattern of landscape in the Urban Fringe of Beijing.
