Characteristic of Grain Size and Pollution Source Apportionment of Atmospheric Dust of Hefei

21 atmospheric dust samples were collected in typical functional zones such as industry zone,residential zone and road side in Hefei.The grain size and content of metal elements were analyzed and calculated.The characteristics of grain size indicated that the mean size and gradation of dust grain size were both big,which expected as a consequence of the wind blown soil.The content of pollutant elements are negative correlation with the dust mean size.The correlation coefficient is-0.9838 and correlativity is comparatively obvious.The source apportionment of dust pollutants was analyzed by the mean of enrichment factor and factor analysis.The result showed that there were four kinds of pollution sources: 33.08% from metal smelting,18.71% from coal combustion,16.17% from wind blown soil,and 16.60% from vehicle emission.In addition,building materials and concrete industry dusts are the other main sources.
