Ideas and Countermeasures on the Development of Urban Greening for the 21 st Century——A Case Study in Shanghai

Wang Xiangrong (Department of Environmental Sciences & Technology,East China Normal University,Shanghai 200062)  
The theory and application of ecological principles,including ecological balance,niche disposition,mutual benefit living and species diversity in ecological construction for urban greening are studied in this paper.The ideas and countermeasures on the development of urban greening for the 21st century by taking Shanghai as an example were provided from urban greening objectives,reasonable planning distribution,richening plant species,constructing the urban natural park and three-dimensional greening.
