Determination of sixteen kinds of phthalic ester in cosmetics by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

A gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method was developed for the simultaneous determination of sixteen kinds of phthalic ester in cosmetics.Within range of phthalic ester concentration of 0.1 mg/L~100 mg/L,the peak area measured by this method has a good relationship with the phthalic ester concentration.All correlation coefficients are higher than 0.99.The detection limits achieves 0.5 mg/kg.The average recovery of sixteen kinds of phthalic ester is 83.3%~121.8% with the relative standard deviation of 0.5%~6.4%.
