Determination of Micro-amount of Lead in Toothpaste by Differential Anodic Stripping Voltammetry

Determination of micro-amount of lead in toothpaste by differential anodic stripping voltammetry has been proposed.The effect of supporting electrolyte,deposition potential and deposition time is discussed.The linear relationship between stripping peak height and concentration of lead is over the range of 0.3ng/mL~50ng/mL.The detection limit is 0.2ng/mL.The method is applied to the determination of lead in actual samples with satisfactory results.
