Application of shepard fitting method based on quadric surface in GPS leveling

Because of some disadvantages of current methods in GPS leveling,this paper introduces a fitting method—Shepard fitting method based on quadric surface.The fitting methods,such as quadric surface fitting,Shepard curved surface fitting,hardy function interpolation and Shepard fitting method based on quadric surface are used,in approximating height anomaly in a test area.The results show that the precision and reliability of approximating height anomaly by Shepard fitting based on quadric surface are preferable.
