The spatial data error classification and quality control based on the workflows

This paper discusses the reason of the spatial data quality problem based on the spatial data production,puts forward the spatial data error classification based on the workflows,which includes data source error,data capturing error and system processing error,and points out data capturing error is the main factor to affect spatial data quality.Visualization of spatial data is the most valid check means for data error.Spatial data quality can be improved in the workflows through map symbolization,visualization of the attribute data,map topology checking and map edge matching.
