Galileo methods of high-order ionospheric refraction correction

This paper investigates theoretical models of the ionospheric refractive error.Because four-frequency are included in the Galileo system,new possibilities for the refinement of ionospheric modeling and reduction of the ionospheric error in Galileo measurements appear.A four-frequency method of correcting the third ionospheric refraction is presented and a four-frequency ionosphere-free combination method is proposed for the Galileo system.It is anticipated that the proposed refraction correction methods will play role in the Galileo system.
