Obtaining deformation of Mani earthquake by three-pass D-InSAR technique

JI Ling-yun1,LIU Rui-chun2,YANG Cheng-sheng3(1.Second Crust Monitoring and Application Center,Xi'an 710054,China;2.Earthquake Administration of Shanxi Province,Taiyuan 030021,China;3.College of Geology Engineering and Geomatics,Chang'an University,Xi'an 710054,China)
Differential SAR Interferometry(D-InSAR) could measure look-of-sight displacement precisely and is used widely in geomatics. This paper attains the vertical and horizontal deformation of Mani earthquake at November 8,1997.The maximum vertical deformation and horizontal deformation of the northern rupture part are about 0.7m and 1.6m respectively, and the counterpart of the southern rupture part are about 0.8m and 2.4m.The rupture is left-lateral.This result indicates that D-InSAR is potential in detecting deformation of earthquake.
