The ionospheric TEC forecast model

Accurately forecasting the ionospheric total electron content plays an important role in improving GNSS navigation and protecting remote radio communication.The characteristic of the TEC time series values for the ionosphere grid point observed by International GPS Servicer is analyzed in this paper.Based on time series analysis,AR models are built for the stationary time series values at the ionospheric grid and used for forecasting ionospheric TEC.The preliminary result shows the proposed methodology and technique is feasible by illustration.
