The research of large areas GPS coordinate transformation based on Delaunay triangulation

A new method-a way of large areas GPS coordinate transformation based on Delaunay triangulation for the problems of large areas GPS coordinate transformation in the land monitoring is proposed.First,the known control points in the land monitoring areas are used for building Delaunay triangulation;and points to be transformed are determined which of a triangle and transformed to target coordinates by using nine-parameter coordinate transformation model,combined three known control points of determined triangle.The Tianjin is the object of study in this paper.By way of comparison between BURSA-WOLF model and the method proposed in the paper,conclusion that the proposed method is better than BURSA-WOLF model in inner line and outside line precision,especially in inner precision(2 mm or less),ensuring control points constant and achieving the unity between coordinate systems of continuous network in large land monitoring areas.
