Study on De-noising of GPS single epoch deformation signals based on wavelet transform

Based on the principle of the multi-resolution analysis of the wavelet transform,in the paper author clarified the princi- ple of wavelet De-noising methods based on threshold noise reduction and median value filtering,and the wavelet transform of the Weighted-median value filtering method was presented on the base of median value filtering with improvement.Moreover,the Weigh- ted-median value filtering was made comparison with the soft threshold-value de-noising,the hard threshold-value de-noising and medi- an value filtering by simulation respectively.Experimental results show that advantages of using of the Weighted-median value filtering to high frequency of wavelet transform and then reconstructing single epoch GPS deformation monitoring signals consist in not only being able to reserve effective signals to large extent,decompose noise efficiently,keep signals smooth,but also having perfect robustness to gross errors.
