Application of CA-AR model in simulation of attribute changes for population space field

DAI Fu-qiang (College of Land Resources,China West Normal University,Nanchong 637002,China)
CA-AR model was brought forward to simulate the attribute changes of population space field integrated CA and AR in this paper.District was transformed to grid unit and CA-AR model was established for main city zone grids in Chengdu city based on the census data 1991~2006 and district boundary map.The results showed that the absolute error and relative error of simulation re- sults were small and precision was very high.So it is feasible to simulate the population quantity changes for population space field by CA-AR mode.
