Adjustment theory and application of generalized inverse matrix

FENG Hao-jian(Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping,Beijing 100039,China)
From the basic knowledge of generalized inverse matrix,a mathematic model of adjustment of observations is established based on the basic equation and characteristic of measurement error. The new theory is called the adjustment of generalized inverse matrix, which is used to solve the problems of measurement adjustment.Compared to the method of least squares, the process is more simple and understandable. The paper discuss the relationship of different adjustment, present the universal model of different adjustment. The adjustment method with unknown parameters is also pointed out and the selection of different parameters has great effect on the results of adjustment. The example is also discussed on the paper.
