A new method for improving the solving precision of tropospheric zenith total delay

The solving precision of tropospheric zenith total delay has a direct impact on the accuracy of long baseline solution and the accuracy of computing atmospheric water vapor content.In this paper,a new method of Kriging interpolation is introduced to computing zenith total delay and the zenith total delay over Great Wall station is solved by high-precision software-GAMIT / GLOBK using the GPS data of the Antarctic Great Wall station and the surrounding IGS tracking station,which is compared with the results solved by interpolation method to draw that the average variance of the zenith total delay over Great Wall station in summer solved by the interpolation method is 0.2mm.It is of great significance for GPS precision positioning and GPS meteorological applications in the future.
