The quasi-geoid of Xinjiang area determined based on the EGM2008 and SRTM model and its accuracy evaluation

Based on the gravity field model EGM2008(with degree 2190)and the digital elevation model SRTM,under the frame of Molodensky theory,a 15'×15' quasi-geoid of Xinjiang area was determined.By comparing with 15 GPS/leveling points distributed separately in Xinjiang area,it is demonstrated that the accuracy of the determined 15'×15' quasi-geoid of Xinjiang area is 0.2m.
