Study progress in international satellite gravity gradiometry programs

Firstly,the measuring principles of gravity gradiometry,research courses of gradiometer from the beginning of 20th century to 21st century,technical features of satellite gravity gradiometer including electrostatic suspension gradiometer,superconducting gravity gradiometer and quantum gravity gradiometer and characteristics of satellite gravity gradiometry(SGG) were described.Secondly,the study progresses in the recovery of 250 order GOCE Earth's gravitational field based on SGG and the feasibility of carrying out one-dimensional radial gradiometer development at first and further recovering the high-accuracy,high-resolution and medium-high frequency Earth's gravitational field were introduced.Finally,the author suggested that China should do some pre-research on temporal-spatial domain based medium-high frequency Earth's gravitational field resolution and error analysis of SGG as soon as possible.
