Block adjustment method airborne LiDAR

Airborne LiDAR data may still show residual systematic errors even after a good calibration.Due to the residual systematic errors and accidental errors,accuracy of each flight test area is inconsistent and deformation exists,this paper presented a method of airborne LiDAR block adjustment,referring to the idea of photogrammetric block adjustment.It put several strips or a test area as a whole solution and obtained all the laser point corrected coordinates throughout the test area meanwhile.Experimental results showed that the proposed adjustment method was superior to the classical method of strip adjustment.
