Realization of flight planning system for airborne remote sensing

In flight planning,the coordinates of flights and waypoints are calculated based on the sensor,the technical parameters of the task,the terrain of the photographic area and so on,which provides theoretic foundation and rules for the aerial photography in the field for meeting the requirement on the accuracy of photographic achievement. The paper developed a flight planning system aiming at aerial remote sensing tasks. It elaborated the functions of the flight planning system,presented the algorithms of flights and exposure waypoints calculation,and introduced the techniques and methods of the system implementation.
