Accuracy comparison of bathymetry between interpolation and remote sensing retrieval for inland lake

This paper focused on accuracy comparison between interpolation and remote sensing retrieval in bathymetry of inland lake,which were both used to simulate the water depth value in different water depths interval in the East Lake,and gave the effective threshold of the two methods in bathymetry. It was suggested that geometric interpolation would be only a trifle better than remote sensing retrieval in the overall accuracy.However,the accuracy of remote sensing retrieval method could be better than geometric interpolation in the shallow water area where the water depth is less than 4m,while geometric interpolation could be better in the deep water area.
