Abnormal Phenomenon of NCEP and the Astro-tidal-triggering

According to the fluctuation in time which extracted from astro-tidal-triggering mod-el,the paper used the data of NCEP(National Centers for Environmental Prediction) to analyze the temperature abnormal increase before the Ms5.1 earthquake that occurred in Wen'an,Hebei province of China on July 4,2006.The result indicated that the astro-tidal-triggering has a triggering effect on the activity of a fault only at the time when the terra stress is in criti-cal status.Meantime,the images of the temperature abnormal increase can clearly reflect the procession of the seismic fault activity in Wen'an:initial temperature rise→ enhancement→ reaching peak →attenuation →return to baseline,and the evolution of abnormal temperature changing maybe indicate the fault activities under tectonics stress:tectonic movement extrusion →rock micro-breakage →rock breaking enhancement →energy accumulation → shaking→ tranquil.
