STUDY ON SYNTHESIS OF MESOPOROUS MOLECULAR SIEVE MCM-41 Ⅰ. Hydrothermal Synthesis Method

The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM 41 was synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide as appendage. The effects of crystallization time, crystallization temperature, raw material composition and template content on the crystallization process of MCM 41 were investigated by using XRD, SEM and IR techniques. The results suggested that the crystallization of MCM 41 was characterized by a long induction period and the crystalline conversion in the later period. There are the optimum ranges of the crystallization temperature, raw material composition and appendage content.
