INFLUENCE OF PREPARATION METHODS ON CATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF Cu ZSM 5 ZEOLITES FOR NITROGEN OXIDE DECOMPOSITION

For preparation of Cu ZSM 5 zeolite, three methods, repeated ion exchange (Ⅰ), ion exchange by adding basic compound (Ⅱ) and direct adherency method (Ⅲ), have been used, and it is found that the catalyst Cu ZSM 5(Ⅲ) possesses higher catalytic activity and stability for NO decomposition than Cu ZSM 5(Ⅰ) and Cu ZSM 5(Ⅱ). Especially, Cu ZSM 5(Ⅲ) shows good catalytic activity and stability up to reaction temperature 923K, which has never been reported in other literatures.
