TIDE CORRECTIONS OF PRECISEGRAVITY MEASURMENTS

Xu Houze(Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics The Chinese Academy of Sciences)  
According to theoretical earth model and taking the effect of ocean tide into account (using the global Cotidal maps of Schwiderski and that in the coastal waters of China). the gravity tide values in the territory of our country have been estimated. Furthermore. in the light of the comparison of gravity tide variations actually observed in our country with the above-meutioned theoretical values. the accuracy of the gravity model aforesaid may reach ±2 μga1. On these grounds. tide corrections for ten observation results of absolute gravity stations in China are carried out.

2 Cheng Xuerong(Institute of Geodesy and Ceophysios Sinica Academia)A method is proposed to calculate 3 components of purterbed gravity by combiningthe terrestrial gravimetric data and sattlite altimetric ones,with the fictitious gravityanomalies and fictitious mass points as Intermediate mediums.Model computation of the above methods shows pretty good digital results.We findthat to get the same accuracy,the extent needed is much smaller when using our methodthan that when using Stokes' Fomula.For example,if we perform Stokes' integra-tion within concentric circles with radii of 4.4 km and 44 km respectively,we shallfind that the former is about1/25 of the latter; but the accuracy changes little whenusing our method in the above different areas.This shows its advantage.We concludethat it will be suitable for the calculation of 3 components of purterbed gravity.;A DISCRETE METHOD OF GEODETIC BOUNDARYVALUE PROBLEM[J];Acta Geodaetica Et Cartographic Sinica;1984-02
