Determination of High Resolution Grid Terrain and Isostatic Corrections in All China Area

On the basis of analyzing the existed methods of computing terrain and isostatic correction, the scheme has been put forward a combination method which determinates grid terrain and isostatic correction for the first time in all China area. At the same time ,an utility software is presented, it is successfully applied in computing the 30″×30″ grid terrain and isostatic correction of whole country. Compared with the exacting integral method (four prism method) test proved that the max errors of terrain correction computing is less 1 mGal(1 Gal=1 cm/s 2),and the max errors of isostatic correction computing is less 2 mGal. The theoretical analysis and numerical results show that the method has higher resolution, better precision and higher efficiency. The paper suggests more attention to be paid to the method.
