On the Height Determination of Qomolangma Feng(Mt.Everest) with Classical Geodetic Technique in 2005

The plane position and geodetic height of peak or target of Qomolangma corresponding to ellipsoid was obtained separately through triangulation network adjustment and height adjustment when processing traditional survey data in Qomolangma height measurement before.The paper puts forward to do adjustment with combined data from triangulation network and trigonometric leveling.The math model,data processing method adopted in separate adjustment and combined adjustment are discussed here.The final results in these two different adjustment is also analysed and compared with GPS results.The difference between traditional method and GPS is discussed in detail in this paper.
