Structure Retaining Linear Multi-channel SAR Image Speckle Filter

Over the past decade,multi-channel SAR image speckle filters have been widely used to suppress the speckle in multi-polarization,multi-temporal SAR images. They are carried out in an optimal way,which minimizes speckle while preserving the radiometry(and hence the information content).However,theses methods cannot effectively preserve spatial resolution of the individual channels.A structure retaining linear multi-channel optimal summation SAR image speckle filter has been proposed,which can be controlled both by the coefficient of variation and by various geometrical ratio detectors.The result shows that this structure retaining filter minimizes speckle while preserving spatial resolution and radiometry of the individual channels effectively.
