The Tikhonov-Least Squares Collocation Method for Determining Geoid

The Tikhonov-least squares collocation method is proposed,namely introducing the Tikhonov regularization algorithm into the least squares collocation method.It is based on the Generalized Cross-Validation(GCV) method to select the regularization parameter of the covariance matrix.In order to inhibit its observational error amplification impact,the parameter is used to modify the small singular values of the ill-posed covariance matrix.The experiments using gravity anomalies based on the EGM2008 in three different regions such as mountainous region,hill and ocean region to determine the geoid for verify the validitying of the method.
