A study on relationships between remote sensing information and plant photosynthetic parameters in estimating biomass model

Zhang Jiahua,Fu Congbin (Institute of Atmospheric Physics , Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing, 100029,China)  
Biomes estimating model based on remote sensing information must contact with the plant photosynthetic parameters, these factors include crop photosynthesis characteristic, Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR) impacting on crop and Absorbed Photosynthetic Active Radiation (APAR). The remote sensing information includes the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Leaf Area Index (LAI). In the paper, process from the information parameter of remote sensing and the parameter of plant physiologically, the relationship models among LAI, APAR, PAR and NDVI were analyzed. And this will be available to further establishing biomes estimate model.
