As the core of educational psychology theory,discovery learning is widely used in teaching.The concept of discovery learning is firstly discussed.Then,we point out that the discovery learning is the inherent needs of the content of GPS.The teaching design of GPS based on discovery learning theory is proposed and analyzed with respect to specific teaching contents.At last,we pointe out the shortcomings in discovery learning,emphasizing that we should critically use of discovery learning theory.
