The Antifungal Activity of Strain PS04

An anti-fungal strain PS04 was separated from soil. Results showed the crude fungicide-ethanol extractor of PS04 culture solution with anti-fungal activity to the pathogens of plant diseases such as Rhizoctonia solani, Pyricularia grisea. Its virulence (IC50) is 99.4 μg /mL to rice sheath blight disease pathogen, which may induce hype abnormal, shorten internodes, increase bifurcation at top of hype. The crude fungicide is stable within the range of temperature between 40~100 ℃ and pH 6.2~7.0.
