Yin Yang Theory and Fuzzy Space

CHEN Gang, HUANG Hai jing and Lü Yi biao
Based on the elaboration about the implication of Yin Yang theory and its influence on architectural space ,this essay discusses the form of fuzzy space in three aspects:the building, the group of buildings and the urban system, and points out that the fuzzy space in Yin Yang theory is a kind of space that is both in and out of a space and that can both combine and coexist with others. By analysing its special features of harmonising and combining in meeting the needs of many aspects of human life, the authors conclude that fuzzy space in terms of Yin Yang theory is of greet value to the theory and method of modern architecture design.
