On Magnetoelectric Detonators Output Characteristic Test Technology

Axial-output characteristic of detonator can′t be described quantitatively with conventional leading method.Proposed is a dynamic axial-output characteristic test system during magnetoelectric detonator exploding.The dynamic axial-output characteristic of magnetoelectric detonators may be tested with a manganin pressure sensor.Detonator′s output power is expressed with peak pressure value of shock wave.So,quantitative test of output characteristic of magnetoelectric detonator for oil and gas wells has been achieved.The experiment results show that the new method can correctly describe the output characteristic at the bottom of detonators.The output characteristic is steady.This new method provides technology and safety guarantee for perforation operation.
