Quantitatively Calculating Formation Water Resistivity of Water flooded Zone with Log Data.

Formation water resistivity is one of the key parameters for precisely determining remaining oil saturation of waterflooded zone. According to sedimentary rhythm, sedimentary microface, pore structure of heterogeneous sand shale formation, combined with the equilibrium principle of solution and the theory of water drive oil, the method of calculating formation water resistivity quantitatively is proposed by using log data. Through the verification of 12 zones selected from two sealing core drilling wells, the formation water resistivity calculated is consistent with that from core analysis.
