Vibration-isolating Mechanism of Aqueduct and Effect Analysis

For studying the vibration-isolating mechanism of a aqueduct and its effect,the paper presents a simplified multispan multi-masspoint model,which considered the transverse water-body action inside aqueduct with Hosner model and was designed in combination with the damping parameters of some aqueduct.The calculated results show that adopting damping apparatus is a feasible measure for solving aseismic safety of a aqueduct,and that appropriately prolongating period of a vibration-isolationg structure and regulating damping are an effective way of controllong aqueduct vibration.The paper points out vibration-isolating frequency should be less than(0.5) times frequency of original sturucture,meanwhile it must be controlled by the frequency of oscillating water-body inside the aqueduct caused by earthquake.
