Three Dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Large Prestressed Concrete Box Flume Structure

Zhao Yu, Zhao Ping, Li Shuyao (North China Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydroelectric Power, Zhengzhou 450045)  
Based on research of design of the large prestressed concrete box flume structure in the diversion project from south to north of central line, mechanical properties of the flume are explored with the three dimensional finite element method. Accordingly, the structural style, dimensions and the arrangement of prestressed reinforcements of the flume are proved to be reasonable. The stress and deformation of the flume satisfy requirements of the design code.
