ANALYSIS OF DYNAMIC EVOLVEMENT IN URBAN LAND-USE COMPOSITION BASED ON SHANNON ENTROPY

The evolvement essential in urban land-use composition is a dynamic process of development of land-use type. Based on rationale of Shannon Entropy, depending on diversity index, equilibrium degree and superiority degree to analyze land-use configuration of some cities and towns in our country, the dynamic evolvement of about ten years` urban land-use configuration in Wuhan City was analyzed in the paper.It is summarize that:①Shannon Entropy of urban land-use in Wuhan City is high and dropes slowly in recent ten years. The dynamic evolvement of Shannon Entropy reflects the variety of Wuhan City land-use configurations, and the further evolvement of land-use interacted effectively with the adjustment of industry continuation; ②With the evolvement of land-use configuration, Shannon Entropy of land-use of industry and storage in Wuhan City is always high, and land-use of habitation increases year after year, these are main causes of superiority degrees. ③Adjusting of industry configuration results in changes of urban land-use configuration's entropy value; more and more suitability industry configurations will lead entropy value of land-use configuration to increase, converge and stablize. ④The diversification of favorable configuration of land-use should be between order and chaos, and this should be effective in sub-areas, but there is no absolute diversification.
