Study on Technology of Making Sodium Copper Chlorophyll from the Leaves of Apium graveolens

SUN Yonglin, YANG Rui ( College of Chemical Engineering and Food Science, Xiangfan University, Xiangfan, Hubei 441053 )  
The sodium copper chlorophyll was made from fresh Apium graveolens leaves and its technology conditions were studied through orthogonal test. The results showed that the optimal technology process of chlorophyll were as follows: the solvent was 95% ethanol, the ratio of solute to solvent was 1∶9 and the extracting time was 8 hours. The conditions of making sodium copper chlorophyll were as follows: the saponification at pH 11-12 for 30 min, acidifying treatment and copper chlorophyll at pH 2-3, 75℃ for 1.5 h, and the addition of CuSO4 to the theoretical value of 2 times, for 1.5 h.
